Goalie Clinic
2021 Goalie Clinic hosted by Scotty Rodgers and Blaze Riorden in Allen TX March 13-14 2021 from 1pm to 4pm PLL Goalie Royalty Scotty Rodgers (Atlas) and Blaze Riorden (Chaos) are offering a unique GOALIE only clinic that only focuses on Goalie skills. This 6 hour immersive experience will include live demonstrations, drills, and live shooting. The clinic is $175 per goalie for the 2 day sessions. 1 on 1 Lessons and VIP Sessions (see below) are available Mar 12 and 15th by appointment. Registrations received before Feb 28th are automatically entered into our drawing for prizes including Team USA shirts, goalie stringing kits, goalie heads, and a complete goalie stick.
We are also offering VIP Sessions with Scotty and Blaze. 3 goalies get a high paced 1 hour session of instructions with either Blaze or Scotty. The 3 goalies will participate in taking shots, feeding from behind, and clearing passes. $100 for each goalie. (These are not included in the clinic fee)
We will also have 1 on 1 lessons ($150 each) with either Scotty or Blaze depending on availability. (These are not included in the clinic fee)
Bios
Scotty Rodgers – While playing at Notre Dame, Rodgers was named the Most Outstanding Player of the 2010 NCAA Championship, is a 2x All-America honoree, was named the 2009 Great Western Lacrosse Player of the Year, was a Second Team All-BIG EAST pick in 2010 and led the nation in goals against average (6.14) and save percentage (.663) in 2009. |
Blaze Riorden – The toughest goalie to shoot on in the PLL, Blaze Riorden led the league with a 55.8 save percentage with 153 saves, earning him the league’s Oren Lyons Goalie of the Year award. While playing at the University of Albany, Riorden was named an All-American and was the America East Defensive Player of the Year. Riorden was named to the PLL All Star Team in 2019. |

Who
Goalies K – 12 boys and girls. Goalies can participate in drills with just a stick (we will have a few extras) but cannot take live shots with out full equipment including a helmet, chest protector, goalie gloves, goalie stick, and appropriate pads.
Health and SafetyAll attendees, spectators, and parents are expected to follow Covid protocols as laid out by the City of Dallas. Please visit the Colin County Covid site for Covid updates. Goalies who cannot make the clinic due to Covid will be able to get a refund. Goalies will need to bring water to the clinics. Please do not share water with others. Please do not come if you are exhibiting any of the symptoms. People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness.
